Assistant Coach Hart Hering

Coach Hart Hering brings a high level of baseball experience to the
Apache program. His playing experience includes time in professional
baseball as a pitcher with the Cleveland Indians. He was also key
member of the Texas A&M Aggies(2006), who set a single season
record for most appearances and was named 2nd team All Big 12
pitcher. He played junior college baseball at Weatherford
College(2004) where he holds the record for most strikeouts in a
season. Hart also was a standout in the Texas Collegiate League,
having been selected to the TCL All Star game. A standout player in
high school at Waco High School (2002), Hering was named All Super
Cen-Texas and THSBCA All State in 2002.
Coach Hering works primarily with the pitchers and is very involved in
recruiting and Apache Baseball Camps. He is also pursuing his Masters
Degree in Kinesiology through UT-Permian Basin.
Coach Hering is married to wife, Charlene and they have 1 son. The
Hering family lives in Tyler, TX.
